Candy Mostafa or *Lady Candy* is a singer, writer, Egyptian fashion designer and model, who comes from an artistic family.

Before joining the high institute of Arabic music in Egypt, Lady Candy studied in the Opera House. She was also a fashion lover so she studied the basics of fashion coached by the former "Miss Egypt" Amina Shelbaya and later she emigrated to USA and attended the "Art Academy" and graduated from the high institute of fashion.

In USA, Lady Candy worked as fashion model in big and known companies in Los Angeles and New York namely G. Clothing, Campaign, Swedish magazine etc.. Before going to the states, Lady Candy participated in many concerts starting the National Arabic troop that was created and directed by the Maestro Selim Sehab. These participations enabled her to be introduced to the guitar player Ahmed El Gebali and the broadcaster Amir Karrara who helped her to take part in his musical program "Star Maker".

She participated with a song called "Da Kalam Dah Ya Nas" which obtained the admiration of the audience and the jury. This song has been broadcasted in the channels of Mazzika and radio FM. She also participated in "Melody premier" the first melody channel's program in the best voice competition. All this was achieved before she left to the US for her studies.

In 2011, in the occasion of the Holy Ramadan, Lady Candy issued a religious prayer called "Mabsoot Bel Fadfada" that was broadcasted in all internet sites. This prayer's lyrics was by Khaled Mohamed and composed by herself and arranged by Maher Salah. She also issued the song "Banat El Balad", written and composed by Lady Candy, as well as the song "Ana Ana". Nowadays she is preparing her first album to be launched in the market after her previous big success in the Arab world.
